CCIT conmemora el Día Internacional de la Mujer destacando su liderazgo en el desarrollo económico de Honduras

En el marco del Día Internacional de la Mujer, la Cámara de Comercio e Industria de Tegucigalpa (CCIT) desea reconocer y celebrar el invaluable aporte de las mujeres hondureñas al progreso económico y social de nuestra nación. Su dedicación y liderazgo en diversos sectores han sido fundamentales para el crecimiento sostenible de Honduras.
Según datos recientes, más del 52% de los emprendimientos en Honduras son liderados por mujeres, lo que refleja su espíritu emprendedor y capacidad para impulsar iniciativas que benefician a sus comunidades y al país en general.
A pesar de estos avances, reconocemos que persisten desafíos significativos. Un informe de la Organización Internacional del Trabajo (OIT) señala que la situación empresarial de las mujeres en Honduras aún se encuentra en una etapa incipiente, lo que subraya la necesidad de fortalecer las condiciones para el desarrollo empresarial femenino.
En este sentido, CCIT reafirma su compromiso de promover la igualdad de oportunidades y apoyar a las mujeres en su desarrollo profesional y personal. Creemos firmemente que, al empoderar a las mujeres, fortalecemos las bases de una sociedad más justa y próspera.
CCIT ha implementado diversas iniciativas para apoyar y fortalecer el rol de las mujeres en el ámbito empresarial. En CCIT, estamos convencidos de que el empoderamiento de las mujeres es esencial para el desarrollo integral de Honduras. Continuaremos trabajando para eliminar las barreras que limitan su plena participación en todos los ámbitos, promoviendo políticas y programas que fomenten la igualdad de género y el liderazgo femenino.
En el Día Internacional de la Mujer, rendimos homenaje a todas las mujeres hondureñas que, con su esfuerzo y dedicación, contribuyen al crecimiento y bienestar de nuestra nación. Su labor es inspiración y motor para seguir construyendo un futuro más equitativo e inclusivo para todos.
